The Optomap is used in primary level eye care for the screening of eye and non-eye diseases and disorders. The Optomap provides the practitioner with a digital wide-field view of the patient’s retina without the inconvenience and discomfort of dilation. At Patterson Optical, we believe documenting a patient's ocular health is important. Therefore, all patients presenting for comprehensive exams receive Optomap screening as part of the comprehensive exam.
